Timber frame builders in Ireland
Faster, factory-made homes
Timber frame has become one of the most common ways to build new homes in Ireland. Wall and roof panels are made in a factory, delivered to site and erected in days, giving a weathertight shell much sooner than traditional block. Done well, it reaches the A2 BER standard required for new homes with room to spare.
On Archizone you can browse listed timber frame manufacturers and builders, see the areas they cover and contact them directly. Searching is free, and new listings are added every week.

FAQ
Is timber frame cheaper than block in Ireland?
It depends on the design, the supplier and local labour costs. The frame itself is not always cheaper, but a faster build can reduce site costs, scaffolding time and the overlap between rent and mortgage. Compare full quotes on the same drawings.
Can I change the design once the frame is ordered?
Small changes may be possible, but once panels are manufactured, changes become expensive. Fix your design, window positions and services routes before you sign off the frame drawings.
Will a timber frame house get a mortgage?
Generally yes. Irish lenders are familiar with timber frame. They will want the house certified under the Building Control Regulations, as with any new build.
