Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

ArchiZone.ie is an online directory that helps people in Ireland find suppliers of construction, furniture, outdoor living, hospitality and sustainability products and services. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. The site is new and still growing, and it has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so we do not claim full conformance.

What we do

• Build pages with standard Wix components, which are designed to work with keyboards and screen readers.

• Use clear headings, readable text sizes and text and background colours chosen for good contrast.

• Label form fields and buttons so that assistive technology can announce them.

• Check new pages and features for accessibility problems when we add them.

Known limitations

• Supplier listings are written by the suppliers themselves. Descriptions, logos and photos may not always have text alternatives or enough contrast. If you find a problem, tell us and we will ask the supplier to fix it or correct it ourselves.

• Some content is provided by third parties, for example Wix sign-in and checkout pages and links to external websites, and may not fully meet accessibility standards.

• Some interactive parts of the site, such as the search filters and image uploads, may be harder to use with assistive technology. We are reviewing them.
